  • Short fiction: cinematic narrative with full production - script, casting, cinematography and sound design.

Frequently asked questions

  • What kinds of films do you produce?

    +

We produce four main formats: creative documentary (auteur pieces on culture, territory, identity and heritage), short fiction (cinematic narrative with script, casting and full cinematography), brand documentary (editorial stories with a brand behind them) and pieces for national and international festivals. We cover the entire process from script and development through to delivery of DCP, ProRes and online distribution masters.

  • Which documentaries and film productions have you worked on?

    +

We have collaborated on productions for Red Foundation (a documentary on social innovation), Museos de Tenerife, the Hidden Canary Islands series (released on Amazon Prime and Apple TV+ with Peter Greenberg) and pieces such as Origenes and Missile from the East. We also handled service production in the Canary Islands for Lionsgate on Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.

  • How long does it take to produce a documentary or short film?

    +

A short fiction film typically takes between 3 and 6 months from final script to delivered master, including casting, shoot (3-7 days) and full post-production (edit, colour, sound and music). A creative documentary can run from 2 to 12 months depending on the scope of field work. For shorter commissioned documentary pieces the timeline shrinks to 6-10 weeks.

  • What tax incentives apply to documentaries and shorts in the Canary Islands?

    +

Audiovisual productions in the Canary Islands can deduct up to 50% of the investment under Law 19/1994 (Canary Islands Economic and Fiscal Regime), subject to per-project caps. It is one of the most competitive regimes in Europe. Regional production grants from the Canary Islands Government and national ICAA grants are also available, often compatible with the tax deduction.
